Privacy policy
No Context is a party game built from photos you choose to share with the people in your room. This page explains what the app collects, what happens to your photos, and what your choices are.
The short version: No Context is made in Europe, hosted entirely in Europe, and keeps nothing after your game ends. Your data belongs to you, exists only for the session, and is never used for anything beyond running your game.
What we collect
- Photos you share. Only the photos you approve for a game are uploaded, never your whole library. Photos are resized and compressed on your device before upload.
- Your player name. The name you type when hosting or joining a room. It doesn't have to be your real name.
- Room and game data. Room codes, votes, captions, and scores, used to run the game and keep standings in sync.
What we don't collect
- No account, no email, no phone number, because the game has no sign-up.
- No access to photos you didn't approve for a game.
How your photos are used
Shared photos are used for one thing: building rounds for the room you joined. They are visible only to players in that room while the game runs. If you'd rather not share at all, choose “I'll just play along” to skip uploading and still vote, guess, and win.
Data retention
Nothing outlives the session. Photos, player names, votes, captions, and scores exist only while your room is open and are deleted when the room closes. We keep no copies, no archive, and no history, which makes the game private by design.
Where your data lives
No Context is made in Europe and hosted entirely on servers in Europe. Your data belongs to you. We never sell it, share it, analyze it, or use it for anything beyond running the game you are playing.
Purchases
The Party Pass is a one-time in-app purchase processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
